Spread the Word:  Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®

Breast cancer is in the media more than ever these days.  With interest running high, we have an opportunity to spread the word about Breast Cancer Deadline 2020® and to invite people to join us in our mission to end breast cancer by January 1, 2020.

Take action today. Use your Facebook page and/or other electronic means to tell people about NBCC’s Annual Advocate Summit.  Whenever NBCC President Fran Visco publishes a column in the Huffington Post, which she will be doing more often this year, repost the article and forward it to any and all contacts and groups who might be interested.

Keep posts brief and positive.  In most cases it isn’t helpful to point out what others aren’t doing.  We want to convey what NBCC is doing.  Encourage people to support Breast Cancer Deadline 2020®.

Here are a few messages you can post online to engage people:

We all want to end breast cancer. The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) focuses on the only two issues that will get us there, like understanding prevention & metastasis.

Screening does not prevent breast cancer. It finds breast cancer that already exists. The National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) focuses on prevention.

Fran Visco discusses changing the breast cancer conversation and our behavior at @HuffingtonPost:

NBCC has focused on ending breast cancer for 20+ years. We’ve got a deadline & a different breast cancer event. Find out more:
